First Saturday Novena Concludes for the Season — June 6, 2026
First Saturday Novena, June 6, 2026
June 6, 2026 — FFRGOC First Saturday Novena at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Laguna Woods, CA
The FFRGOC community gathered with devotion for the 9th First Saturday Rosary Novena, marking the end of this season's monthly prayer. The devotion will pause for the summer, and resume on October 3rd of this year.
This beautiful series of First Saturday Novenas was organized under the leadership of Mary Ann Puzon, FFRGOC First VP, together with her husband Glenn Puzon, President of HRPCC/FFRGOC Choir. Each month, the South Chapter and its Areas graciously hosted the devotion, with members faithfully leading the prayers and participating with heartfelt reverence.
Current President Evelyn Ruiz expressed her hope that when the Novena resumes in October, even more Chapters and Areas will join in strengthening this cherished devotion to our Blessed Mother.
The community also celebrated the blessing of the Sto. Niño image, lovingly crafted in the Philippines and made possible through generous donors. The Sto. Niño Novena will begin in January 2027, with a special invitation for children to join. The day ended in gratitude, unity, with the gentle presence of the Holy Spirit.
