About FFRGOC

Federation of Filipino Rosary Groups, Inc. Orange County. A registered non-profit charitable and religious organization under section 501(c)(3) since 1993.

Our Mission

Guided by the Holy Spirit, we joyfully share our Filipino heritage as we follow Christ and promote devotion to the Holy Rosary in honor of Mama Mary.

Our Vision

  • Propagate more faith and love to Jesus through Mary by praying the rosary as a family
  • Align ourselves with people of the same faith and values
  • Raise money to help seminarians become priests to serve around the globe
  • Help the needy through fundraising efforts and donations

Who We Are

FFRGOC propagates faith to Jesus through Mary by praying the rosary using the Block Rosary Movement familiar to Filipinos. We are one of the largest organizations of Filipino Americans not only in Orange County but Southern California.

Our organization has evolved from 52 families to 1,500 families as members, earning the recognition, trust and respect of the Diocese of Orange through ongoing participation of Bishops in our Rosary rallies.

We also represent, promote and celebrate Philippine cultures and traditions, and contributed to the renovation of the Christ Cathedral as a Catholic Church.

FFRGOC Community

Our History

Federation of Filipino Rosary Group — Los Angeles was in existence for 13 years. A small group of Rosary devotees from Orange County became an Area member in 1983 and grew to be a Chapter with 10 Areas by 1989. Father Juan Caboboy became the spiritual director on December 16, 1992.

FFRGOC was incorporated under IRS 501(c)(3) as a non-profit organization on April 13, 1993. Since then, the organization has grown from 19 Rosary Areas at incorporation to 29 Areas with 6 Chapters today.

Patrick Peyton, commonly called the "Rosary Priest," coined the phrase "the family that prays together stays together" and "a world at prayer is a world at peace" — principles that guide our organization to this day.
