Program Overview
Objective
The FFRGOC Seminarian Scholarship Program provides financial grants to deserving seminarians in the Philippines who are in dire financial needs in pursuit of their chosen vocation.
Our History
Initially funded and operated by Area rosary groups, the Program expanded to the Federation level when FFRGOC was officially incorporated as a non-profit organization. Over the years, the program has supported seminarians and seminary schools across the Philippines. Scholarship coverage used to include college level education. However, due to high rate of withdrawal of scholars upon completion of baccalaureate degree, the Seminarian Program now only includes the advance stage of studies, the Theologate level, leading to priesthood. More than 30 individuals have availed the Program and a dozen were ordained as priests.
